Important information:

A shipment is accepted when Vietnam Airlines or a Vietnam Airlines’ agent takes possession of cargo and executes an AWB issued.

Shipper’s Letter of Instruction (SLI) is a mandatory document for shippers or forwarding companies neither issuing AWB nor being present at the time of AWB issuance to sign it. Based on instructions in SLI and details of shipment in reality of which number of pieces, weight and volume are checked, AWB will be issued.

Each AWB requires an equivalent SLI of sufficient contents according to regulations. Agents’ forwarding staff executes SLI when accepting from agents/forwarders.
