Vietnam Airlines’ current trucking network covers destinations from major European gateways such as Paris (CDG), Frankfurt (FRA), London (LHR/LGW) and cargo metropolis in Australia, Japan such as Sydney (SYL), Melbourne (MEL), Osaka (KIX), Tokyo (NRT), Nagoya (NGO), Fukuoka (FUK).
No, vulnerable cargo is not accepted in consolidation shipment unless the whole consolidation shipment is vulnerable cargo. However, consolidations of lithium ion/metal cells and batteries under Section II of Packing Instructions 966, 967, 969, 970 are accepted.
In addition to documents for shipment of general cargo, a declaration for vulnerable cargo must be made by the shipper containing details of cargo type, number, weight and packing status at time of acceptance. In case vulnerable cargo is also dangerous goods, documentation requirements of dangerous goods regulations must be complied with.
Vulnerable cargo is only accepted for transport in aircraft with ULDs.
